The Tabasco mud turtle (kinosternon acutum), commonly known as pochitoque in Tabasco, Mexico, is a small turtle which belongs to the Kinosternidae family. It can be found in central Veracruz, Tabasco, northern Guatemala and Belize. This turtle lives in smallstreams, marshes and ponds.
