Tetrix subulata the slender ground-hopper is a species of groundhopper in the Orthoptera: Caelifera. It is found across the Palearctic: in many parts of Europe, including all of the British Isles, and east to Siberia and to the south parts of North Africa. It is also found in North America, where it may be called the "awl-shaped pygmy grasshopper" or "slender grouse locust".
