Description ²

• Flower: White elongated cluster
• Leaves: basal, up to 12 inches long, slender and semi-circular in cross section, groove down center towards base
• Fruit/Seed: yellowish green, slender capsule 1/3 inch long
• Height: 6-20 inches
• Flowering: May - July
• Habitat: fens, marshes, bogs
