Leaf/Branch Arrangement: Alternate
Flower: White elongated cluster
Leaves: 3 inches long, ¾ inch wide, sharply toothed, pointed tip, short stalk
Bark: brown-red, smooth
Fruit/Seed: cluster of 4-6 tiny pods, brown
Height: 2-6 feet
Flowering: June - September
Habitat: meadows, bogs, along shores
