Flower: Yellow-white bell shaped
Leaves: oval, rounded tip, ¾-2 ½ inches long, 1 inch wide, edges fringed with fined hairs
Bark: brown/grey, peeling in strips
Fruit/Seed: oblong berry, blue/black, 3/8 inch long
Height: 1-5 feet
Flowering: May - Jun
Habitat: swamps, fens, woods, thickets
