• Flower: White simple shaped, 3 petals
• Leaves: whorl of 3 leaves at top of otherwise naked main stem, broadly oval to diamond-shaped, up to 4 inches long and wide with sharply pointed tip
• Fruit/Seed: reddish purple berry
• Height: 8-20 inches
• Flowering: May - June
• Habitat: Woods
