Occasional on Eucarya hickories and found once on bitternut of Apocarya section, occurs singly or in small groups; attached to side of vein on lower leaf surface; 6.0-8.0 mm in length, recumbent, base lobed across attachment to vein but not bulbous, gradually narrowing along length to pointed apex; green, yellow, to tan, hairless; base of gall with central conical pedicel in shallow, circular indentation; wall firm, brittle, uniformly thin, larval chamber glabrous with longitudinal ridges following gall axis from leaf vein connection to apex.
