Hylodesmum glutinosum is a species of flowering plant in the family Fabaceae. Common names include large tick-trefoil, clustered-leaved tick-trefoil, large-flowered tick-clover, pointed tick-trefoil, beggar's lice and pointed-leaved tick-trefoil. It occurs in eastern Canada, the central and eastern United States, and northeastern Mexico.

Leaves:
Compound leaf with three oval leaflets (up to 5 inches long). The center leaflet is the largest of the three.

Flower:
Pink to white, pea-like flowers (0.25 inch long) grow in clusters at the top of stem and in leaf axils

Bloom time:
June-August

Habitat:
Woods, thickets

Wildlife Benefits:
Flowers are attractive to bees. Seeds and foliage are a food source for turkeys, deer, and rabbits.
