Summary ²

Lathrecista asiatica, the asiatic blood tail, is a species of dragonfly in the family Libellulidae. It is the only species in its genus. It breeds in ponds, marshes, swamp forest and shallow forest pools. It is widespread, occurring from India to Australia.
