Occurrence 6

Central Iowa appears to be the northern limit of this species range. SINA shows this species only in southeast Iowa, but iNaturalist has records just outside the SINA range map in central Iowa. Knutson and Jaques (1935) did not list this species. The first record for Iowa appears to be a BugGuide record from 2011: https://bugguide.net/node/view/594462. It seems likely it has expanded its range into Iowa.

Habitat 6

Usually deciduous trees, sometimes in undergrowth.
