De Kop met de vooruitsteekende Lantaarn is zo lang als 't geheele Lyf, de Oogen, het Lyf en de Pooten zyn geelagtig graauw met ligtbruine ftip- pels; de Sprieten zyn ter zyden een weinig agterwaarts de Oogen geplaatst, beftaande uit een peervormig lidt, en een halfrondt bolletje, waarop men een klein vezelagtig hairtje, doch niet dan door behulp van een vergrootglas gewaar wordt. De Dekfchilden en Vleugels zyn hoornagtig en doorfchy- nendt, en wederzyds als bezaait met bruine ftippels. De HOOG WELGEB. HEER BARON RENGERS heeft dit zeld- zaame Infect van de kust Guinea ont- fangen.

The Head with the protruding Lantern is as long as the whole Lyf, the Eyes, the Lyph and the Feet are yellowish gray with light brown tips; the Sprites are placed on the side a little behind the Eyes, consisting of a pear-shaped lid, and a semicircular bulb, on which a small fibrous hair can be seen, but only with the aid of a magnifying glass. The Cover shields and Wings are horny and chynendt, and both as dotted with brown dots. The HIGH WELGEB. LORD BARON RENGERS received this rare Infect from the coast of Guinea.
