Kopf, Pronotum. Brustlappen, Clipeus und Pronotums- Mittelkiel gelbbraun; der Hinterrand des Pronotums und das Schildchen braun; Schildchenspitze gekielt und gelblich. (Die mehr oder minder deutliche Querriefung des Schildchens ist bei allen Ancephora-Arten vorhanden; ebenso ist die Runze lung. Punktierung und wulstige Erhöhung am Pronotums- Hinterrand bei den Arten verschieden, bei dieser Art und bei Minor weniger, bei Olivacea und Sanguinea stärker entwickelt.) Deckflügelbasis grün mit blutroten Flecken: drei große stehen in der Costalzelle, zwei im Corium an der Clavus-Coriumnaht, ferner viele kleine zerstreut im Corium und Clavus. Apicalteil der Flügellecken und Flügel wie bei der vorher beschriebenen Art. Brust, Beine, Rostrum, Bauchsegmente, Genitalplatten und Anallappen gelbbraun; Rostrumspitze und Tarsen schwarz-braun. Die Rückensegmente des Hinterleibes dunkelbraun, zum Conexivum heller werdend. Die letzten Hinterleibs-segmente sind bei dieser Art wie bei den übrigen gekielt.
Länge 25 mm. Spannweite 50 mm.
