Kopf und Rumpf olivenbraun, an den Stirn- und Brustseiten, Tegulis und Basal- winkeln des Mesonotums mit ziegelrotem Anflug, Brustseiten schwarz gefleckt: Scheibe des Mesonotums schwärzlich: Schnabel und Beine hellbraun, Tarsen schwarz. Flugwerk- zeuge oben und unten gleichgefärbt; Deckflügel von schwarzer Grundfarbe mit oliven- grüner Aderung; Kostalzelle graulila mit etwa 8 kleineren äusseren und etwa 4 grösseren inneren Flecken von schwarzer Farbe, in der Basalhälfte des Koriums 4 5 hell gelb grüne Flecke und eine Gruppe mehr verwaschener im Apikalteile: Flügel zu / blutrot, Apikalteil trübe ockergell, Analsaum grau-hyalin. Abdomen oben schwarz, unten bräun- lich, die Genitalien hell ziegelrot 23-30 mm., Exp. legm. 55 mm. Long, corp. 17-19 mm., Long. c. tegm.
Die Stücke vom Kilimandjaro sind weniger frisch als die aus dem Süden. Kilimandjaro: Kibonoto, untere Kulturzone, 1,000 1,200 m., März, April (3 Ex.); Deutsch-O-tafrika, Bez. Iringa (Mus.
