Olivaceo-virescens, nitida; scutello, clypeo pectoreque testaceo-flavescentibus; te- gminibus olivaceo-fuscescentibus, venis in olivaceo-virescentem obsolete vergentibus, parte vix tertia apicali nigricante, anterius fascia fulvescente, intus evanescente, terminata; alis fuscescentibus, macula basali sordide albido-virescente; pedibus fusco-testaceis, subtus pallidioribus; abdominis segmentis apice late aurantiacis, segmentis ventralibus basi fascia nigra interrupta notatis. 9. Olive-green, shiny; scutellum, shield, and breast shield-yellow; with olivaceous-brownish umbels, the veins becoming obsoletely olivaceous-greenish, the apical part nearly a third blackish, anteriorly bounded by a yellowish band, disappearing within; wings brownish, basal spot dirty whitish-greenish; feet dark-skinned, paler underneath; Abdominal segments broadly orange at the apex, ventral segments marked with a black band interrupted at the base. 9. Of the most closely related species (Eddara euchroma), the coverts are destitute of yellowish drops, and the wings are almost entirely brownish. the forehead is less confluent and diverges from the obtuse apical lateral lobes, a little less prominent.
