Flavo-virescens vel ochraceo-flavescens; capite plano, mi- nimè carinato, pronoto plus duplo longiori, anticè obtusè an- gulato; fronte latitudine sua longiore, flava; verticis margini- bus sulcatis, sulco nigro, antice plùs minusve obsoleto vel concolore: pronoti carinâ media conspicua, marginibus late- ralibus nigris; hemelytrorum apice obliquè rotundato-trun- catis; areolis plurimis nigris; margine costali pallide-flaves-centi, punctis quatuor, minutis, nigris, plus minusve obsoletis, maculisque internis croceis: alis infumatis, basi media, abdo- minisque dorso sanguineis; pectoris lateribus dilute flaves- centibus, pedibus brevissimè pilosis, tibiarum carinis fuscis: abdomine flavo, utrinque fusco-punctato.

Especie intermedia entre la II. festiva Sp. de la India Oriental y la H. cincta F. del Senegal y Sierra Leona, y más próxima à la primera por la forma de la cabeza que es mucho más larga que el pronoto, pero en la especie nueva es al mismo tiempo poco estrecha por delante, y el vèrtice no es agudo, en lo que se distingue de la II. festiva Sp., así como por la coloracion de las patas y por las manchas del área mar- ginal de los élitros.
