Gracie is a small brown tabby with a white flash on her chest. She has been regularly spotted between Klaus and the Architecture buildings since at least 2023. She is suspected to be a former housecat. Since early 2024, she has been receiving veterinary treatment and is on track to be adopted!
Gracie is generally considered to be quite approachable. She is not particularly sensitive to sudden movements but does not like to be approached rapidly. She is very affectionate and has an affinity for lower back, neck, and scalp massages. There have been no reports of her biting or scratching anyone. After being fostered for several months she has become far more approachable.
Gracie was captured by a student who had been visiting her for several months (who also happens to be the person writing this). She has been fostered by a graduate student since early January 2024. A subsequent vet visit confirmed that she was positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), however, she is still set to be successfully adopted at the end of the Spring 2024 Semester by an administrator of Georgia Tech Cats.
Relationship with Ivy:
Gracie is speculated to be Ivy's mother as the two were spotted together when Ivy was a kitten. Ivy also bears a resemblance to Gracie.
