Clove (also Martini, Marta, Marticia) is a tortoiseshell with large ginger patches on the back that has been recorded on West Campus since at least April 2022, when she was spotted with two kittens (Fish Cake and an unnamed black cat) in the President’s Estate. Both of her kittens seem to have stuck around in the same area and have been seen associating with each other since. Usually near the left gate on the way to the GLC from Atlantic Dr 7pm onwards (thanks Vaidehi!).

Currently suffering from a head wound.

Not the same cat as Jack ("Jackie”); note differences in pattern and location.

Behavior ⁶

Clove is somewhat skittish but will allow one to pet her if offered treats. She is very affectionate and is very receptive to back and neck massages. She generally feels much more comfortable if all humans in her proximity are sitting down rather than standing up.

Adoption Plan ⁶

Clove is generally very approachable and very affectionate. She is considered to be an ideal candidate for adoption and is next on the list to be adopted after Jack. She tends to stay in one location consistently so she likely would not mind being in a house for most of the day.

Relationship with Fishcake and Unnamed-6:
Clove is believed to be the mother of Fishcake and Unnamed-6 as they were both spotted near her as kittens.
