Mimi

Black-and-white with chin-spot

Description 5

Mimi is a skittish short-haired black-and-white cat with a black chin spot. They first appeared around the Klaus/Architecture buildings in Fall 2023 but have been fairly transient since then. They have showed up at various places on central campus including Van Leer and the Eco-Commons multi-use gravel path. Note that Momo is a different black-and-white also appeared around the same time, but who lacks a chin spot and whose black patches are more broken up.

Currently suffering from an injured front right paw.

Behavior 6

Mimi is incredibly skittish and will flee if approached. They have been observed fighting with Gracie for food and likely have FIV as a result of the violent encounters.

Adoption Plan 6

As of Spring 2024, Mimi is unlikely to be adopted as they are currently unapproachable. Similarly to Momo, they are quite independent and may not be adoptable.

Theories 6

Relationship with Void and Momo:
Mimi is speculated to be the sibling of Void and Momo. Evidence for this theory comes from the fact that all three have similar body and nose shapes as well as the fact that all three are known to associate with one another. In the case of Momo and Mimi, they have nearly identical coats of fur.
