Description ²

The void or just Void is a skittish black cat that has been seen associating with Momo. She has not yet allowed students to approach her but she has come within a distance of one meter of a student after she offered her treats. She tends to hang out in the center campus area around the parking garage. She is distinguished from other black cats due to her unique nose shape and smaller size.

Behavior ³

Sightings of Void are fairly rare but have mostly occurred at night (after 8:00 PM). As mentioned previously she is very skittish and is terrified of people. So far she has not allowed anyone to make physical contact with her and (unless baited with treats) prefers to maintain a distance of at least five meters from the nearest person.

Adoption Plan ³

As of Spring 2024, Void is unlikely to be adopted as she is currently unapproachable. However, she appears to have a rather gentle personality and would likely make for an optimal domestic cat.

Theories ³

Black Cats:
Void is speculated to be one of four black cats on campus. In early April 2024, she was spotted with another black cat near the parking garage in the center of the campus. Taking that information into account along with the presence of Fishcake's sibling and the black fraternity cat spotted near Old CE, the total number of black cats on campus is believed to be at least four.

Relationship with Momo and Mimi:
Void is speculated to be the sister of Momo and Mimi. Evidence for this theory comes from the fact that all three have similar body and nose shapes as well as the fact that all three are known to associate with one another.
