Plethodontidae | southern two-lined salamander
The two dark lines border a broad light middorsal stripe but often tend to break up into dots or dashes on tail. The dorsal coloration always essentially yellow, may be brownish, greenish, bronzy or bordering on orange. Costal grooves 14.

Habitat: brookside, hiding beneath all masses of wet leaves in creek or river swamps.
