Leaflets strongly 3-veined from the base; flowers pale yellow with red keel tip; peduncle much shorter than the flowering portion of the inflorescence; pods woody, with strongly raised veins, often constricted between the seeds; seeds with a long hilum extending around three-quarters of the circumference.
