Prunus subhirtella (Prunus × subhirtella) or Prunus pendula sometimes also called Spring cherry, Higan cherry, or Rosebud cherry is a small deciduous flowering tree originating in Japan, but unknown in the wild. It is probably of hybrid origin between Prunus incisa and Prunus spachiana.
