Leaves with up to 10 leaflets. Stems, petioles, racemes, bracts and pedicels all with numerous long, spreading hairs; Bract 4 – 6 mm long. Pods with (1or) 2 segments, the segments armed with 2-several spines when mature; calyx divided to near the base into an upper and lower lobe.
