Plant descriptions 2

Flowers with small, white petals 4 - 6 mm long; Ovary glabrous; Style c. 8 mm long; pinnae of the leaves with 4 - 7 pairs of leaflets (sometimes alternate); Fruit flat, very thin and papery, becoming dry and brittle when ripe, with a narrow ridge forming a line on both valves parallel to the upper margin, glabrous, indehiscent, with 1 or 2 (-3) seeds.

Similar species 2

C. hildebrandtii is close to C. angolense from E Africa, but the latter has distinctly larger flowers with longer pedicel ( 4 - 11 mm) and yellow petals, and generally large fruit ( 85 - 145 mm long).
