Trachelospermum difforme

Summary 4

High, twining woody vine with smooth, reddish brown stems; our only climbing member of the dogbane family. Leaves are opposite, think-stalked, 2-4 inches long, entire, ovate-lanceolate, acute at the tips. Flowers are pale yellow or cream-colored, funnel-shaped corolla tube, about 0.25 inches long, with 5 divergent lobes. Fruits are slender follicles, 5-9 inches long.
