Habitat Type: Freshwater

Comments: This species occurs in salt marshes and mangrove swamps along the eastern shores of the United States; and in saline lakes in the southwestern United States. It is the only small dragonfly occurring in salt water habitats (Dunkle, 1989; Nikula et al., 2003).
