The Salt Marsh Skipper (Panoquina panoquin) is a butterfly of the Hesperiidae family. It is found along the Atlantic Coast of North America, from New York south to Florida and the Florida Keys, west along the Gulf Coast to southern Texas.

Panoquina panoquin is a year-round resident along the east and south coast of the United States from Massachusetts to Texas (Scott 1986). Habitats are coastal salt marsh. Host plants are possibly the grass Spartina or Distichlis spicata. There are multiple flights each year with the approximate flight time Feb.1-Dec 31 in the southern part of their range (Florida), and several flights July 1-late Aug. in the northern part of the range (New York) (Scott 1986).
