Papilio appalachiensis, the Appalachian Tiger Swallowtail, is a species of swallowtail butterfly found in the eastern United States, particularly in the Appalachian Mountains. It is a hybrid of another two Papilio species, Papilio canadensis and Papilio glaucus, with whom it shares many characteristics.
