The Gemmed Satyr (Cyllopsis gemma) is a species of butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is found in the South-Eastern United States and North-Eastern Mexico.

Cyllopsis gemma is resident of the southeastern United States ranging south to Guatemala (Scott 1986). Habitats are subtropical to transition zone grassy areas near water. Host plants are unknown (in the lab, larvae eat grass). Individuals overwinter as fourth instar larvae. This species is rare in that it has seasonal forms in both larvae and pupae. There are multiple flights each year with the approximate flight time late Apr.-early Oct. in the northern part of the range and Feb.1-Nov.30 in the southern part of their range (Scott 1986).
