Northern Leopard Frog

Adult characteristics 4

The Northern Leopard Frog can grow to l00mm (4in). Dorsal color is green or brown with dark oval spots bordered by a light halo. The ventral side is white and hind feet are fully webbed. Breeding males have nuptual pads on the inside of the forelimbs.

Egg characteristics 4

The eggs are laid in spherical masses that appear black and fuzzy.

Tadpole characteristics 4

Northern Leopard Frog tadpoles are speckled in appearance, the eyes are set at a medial width atop the head.
