Adult characteristics 2

The Columbia Spotted Frog grows to 89mm (3.5in). Dorsal color can be green, tan or olive, ventral colors can be yellow, orange or red. Eyes are upturned and hind feet are fully webbed. breeding males will have nuptial pads and enlarged forearms.

Egg characteristics 2

Columbia Spotted Frog eggs are laid in shallow water and may be laid in spherical, communal gelatinous masses.

Tadpole characteristics 2

Columbia Spotted Frog tadpoles are greenish grey with a gold flecking. Eyes are spaced medially atop the head.
