Adult characteristics 2

The Boreal Chorus Frog is small, reaching a maximum length of38mm (1.5in). They are polymorphic in color, usually with three longitudinal dorsal stripes. The snout is pointed and a dark stripe runs through each eye. They have moist smooth skin and small toe pads with intercalary cartilages.

Boreal Chorus Frog eggs are laid in small packets near the water surface.

Boreal Chorus Frog tadpoles are small with wide set eyes.
