North America: Western Canada, Alaska, Rocky Mountains.

Distinguishing Features 2

Draba ventosa is separated from D. ruaxes by long-stalked stellate hairs on both leaf surfaces and by fruits with simple and star-shaped hairs. Styles 1.0- 1.25 mm.
