Dreamy Duskywing butterflies (wingspan 29 - 38 mm) range across boreal North America and down both the eastern and western mountains. They can be found along woodland edges and openings. Caterpillars feed on the leaves of willows, poplars, aspens, and birch. Adults are active from May to July feeding upon nectar from a variety of flowers including clover, hawkweed, blueberry, strawberry, purple vetch, dogbane, and lupine.
