Summary ²

The Draco Skipper is native to the Rocky Mountains from the Yukon territories to Arizona. This species (wingspan 21 - 33 mm) thrives on sub-alpine and alpine slopes and meadows. Caterpillars feed on grasses. Adults fly from June through August feeding on flower nectar.
