This species of moth is known in Lyndhurst by a single caterpillar collected in 2015. I have never seen an adult in Lyndhurst, but they are gray with mottled markings. Caterpillars are bright yellow with black tufts, and should not be picked up.

Caterpillars can cause a mild rash if handled.
