Oedipina cyclocauda is a species of salamander in the Plethodontidae family. It is found in Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.

Commonly found under logs, at the based of trees or under moss on tree trunks (Savage 2002).

It inhabits humid lowland forest, where it is terrestrial and semi-fossorial. It can survive in somewhat disturbed forest where there are still tall trees. In Honduras, it has been recorded from shaded coffee plantations (Franklin Castaeda pers. comm.). It breeds by direct development and is not dependent upon water.

Species description based on Savage (2002). A medium-sized salamander with a rather short, rounded snout (to 140 mm total length). Males and females are similarly-sized. The tail can be rather long in some individuals.
Dorsal
The dorsal coloration is grey-black.
Eye
The eyes are rather large in this species.
Extremities
The extremeties are short, and the hands and feet are very small.
