Description 3

Medium-sized tank-forming bromeliad, epiphytic. Has small night-blooming flowers pollinated by bats. Fruits are dehiscent capsules which release small seeds with short brown hairs.

Habitat Type 3

Savannah, lowland, montane and cloud forests, often found on steep slopes and ridges.
