The Hewitt's ghost frog (Heleophryne hewitti) is a species of frog in the Heleophrynidae family. It is endemic to South Africa.

Etymology ²

The species hewitti is named after the herpetologist and director of the Albany Museum in Grahamstown from 1910-1958, John Hewitt.
