Rhinotyphlops schinzi, commonly known as Schinz's beaked blind snake, is a species of snake in the Typhlopidae family. It is endemic to southern Africa.

Distribution: Namibia, W Botswana, Republic of South Africa (south to Calvinia in the Cape).T
Type locality: Noi Xas, Ghansi District, western Kalahari, South West Africa.  
Type locality: “Noi Xas unweit Ghanze in der Nord-Kalayari, Südweat-Afrikas” = between Aus and Keetmanshoop, Great Namaqualand, Noixas, Ghansi District, W. Kalahari, Botswana (21.567°S, 21.783°E, elevation 1155 m).
