Amblyodipsas micropthalma, or the eastern purple-glossed snake, is a species of venomous rear-fanged snake in the Atractaspididae family.

Range description ³

This species is found in South Africa, in the regions of Mpumalanga and northern KwaZulu-Natal . It is also found in southern Mozambique.
