Duberria lutrix, or the common slug eater, is a small, ovoviviparous,molluscivorous, nonvenomous snake, which is endemic to Africa.

Range description 8

This species is widespread from Ethiopia in the north, and as far south as the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa (Kofron 1990, Spawls et al. 2002). This species is found between 1,000 and 2,600 m above sea level.
