The Aurora house snake, Lamprophis aurora, is a species of snake in the Colubridae family.

Range description 3

This species inhabits the Highveld of Gauteng and the Free State, South Africa, extending into the provinces of KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape (Branch 1998). It is also found at isolated localities along the South Cape and West Cape escarpment, and in Lesotho and Swaziland.
