The Asian leaf turtleCyclemys dentata is a species of turtle found in Southeast Asia. They are quite common in the pet trade with its carapace resembling that of a Cuora amboinensis hybrid.

Diagnosis 6

Although poorly known, this species can be easily distinguished from other native species by the unique orange (sometimes pinkish) colored head pattern, as shown in the pics.

Conservation 6

It is collected for the pet trade in great numbers but still quite common and in no real need of conservation.
