The scientific name for Curlycup Gumweed is Grindelia squarrosa. The Curlycup Gumweed is a yellow flower that is about an inch wide. It grows to around 12 inches tall. The sessile leaves are slightly serrated which helps the plant stand up and tilt itself toward the sun. It is an aromatic medicinal plant that may or may not have ray flowers.
