Not a spike. Branches not whorled. A poa - leaf midrib appearing as a double line – tramlines; apex shaped like the prow of a boat. Culm flattened to an oval cross-section (rotate the stem between thumb and forefinger to feel the uneven rotation). Uncommon, often sandy soil and near water.
