Small rodent, with head and body length between 100 and 150 mm, tail length between 102 and 146 mm, foot length between 24 and 28 mm, ears length between 17 and 22 mm and a weight up to 56 g. [3]

The upper parts are gray-ash, with blackish reflections on the rump, while the lower parts and legs are white. The tail is longer than the head and the body, it is blackish above and whitish below.
