Eastern Honey Bee - 東方蜜蜂

Apis cerana

Summary 2

Apis cerana, or the eastern honey bee (and the Asiatic honey bee), is a species of honey bee found in southern and southeastern Asia. Apis cerana is known for its highly social behaviour, reflective of its classification as a type of honey bee.

Did You Know? When a rich source of pollen or nectar is discovered, these bees do a 'waggle dance' back in the hive to describe the journey to her fellow nest-mates.
