Description 2

Ground color white, with an irregular row of opaque white glands around edges of dorsum. Dorsum with small low tubercles. Rhinophores white, smooth. Branchial plumes 8, tripinnate. Labial tentacles lobiform.

Size 2

Typically about 20mm in length, but may reach 35mm.

Geographic Range 2

Carmel, Monterey Co., CA, to Gulf of California, Mexico, to Panama; Galapagos Islands.

Notes 2

Found in the middle and low rocky intertidal and subtidal, usually under stones.
