The common raven (Corvus corax), also known as the northern raven, is a large all-black passerine bird. Found across the Northern Hemisphere, it is the most widely distributed of all corvids. As an all black corvid, it is similar to the american crow except that it is bigger, but it also has a larger heavier black beak. It can be spotted all year round in the COSA
